About Me
First and foremost, I am a proud Momma of five wonderful children ages 23 to 35 and 10 grandchildren ages 0 to 15 that are the love of my life and what keeps me going!
Many years ago I started thinking about my youngest child graduating in just a few short years and thought “Oh my gosh I am going to be an empty nester very soon and what am I going to do with myself?” I knew a sedentary type of job (which I was already qualified for and had done in the past), was no longer an option for my active lifestyle. With a push from my family, peers, and my desire to be a strong and fit role model for my grandchildren, I achieved a certification as a Personal Trainer and worked in a boutique gym for the past three years. During that time, I also broadened my fitness scope to include my Pilates level 1 & 2, USAWeightlifting, TRX certificates. In addition I am working on my Nutrition coaching certification.
I am always researching and trying to stay on top of the ever changing fitness and nutrition industry. If I have a client that asks a question related to those industries, I will go above and beyond to research and have an answer by the next session or sooner. LOL.
My passion is motivating people of all ages and all walks of life to GET UP AND MOVE!
What IS additionally crucial is cardio, strength training and core strengthening. The core is our foundation so it is very important to get it strong, flexible, and mobile so that we can work more efficiently in our everyday life. Being active is crucial to wellness, but movement isn’t everything.
My ultimate goals for my clients are: heart health, strong muscles, flexibility,mobility, balance, lean muscle mass, and healthy lifestyle choices by achieving small goals for long lasting results.
